Offseason previews {ATL, BOS, CHA}

I want to give offseason previews for all 30 NBA teams. I'll start with the Atlanta Hawks and go in alphabetical order.

Atlanta Hawks

Ok, so the Hawks need a little help at the PF. I guess Marvin Williams wasn't the greatest pick, especially now knowing that they missed out on Chris Paul and Deron Williams. Even Raymond Felton would have been a better pick, better than Mike Bibby is in Atlanta.

I would set up Williams in a big blockbuster trade for a good PF or something. Or they could trade him for like Vladimir Radmanovic or something, and then switch Al Horford to PF and Zaza Pachulia off the bench to Center. I don't know, they should just get rid of the players they don't need. Not to mention gu! ys like Solomon Jones and Speedy Claxton. It makes no sense for the Hawks to have those guys. The Hawks need to rebuild.

Grade before offseason: B-

Boston Celtics

The Celtics are still in the playoffs, which is very good. It's only one of four teams, but it's mostly because of three of the players. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen have been leading the Celtics probably the whole time.

Rajon Rondo improved a ton, because he earned the starting point guard job this season due to the loss of all of their other point guards. Kendrick Perkins is pretty good, but the Celtics should look to get a better Center. Maybe! even a new Point Guard. They have the last pick of the 1st an! d 2nd ro und, but they can still get a decent something.

Grade: A

Charlotte Bobcats

The Bobcats had a team good enough to make it to the playoffs, but they couldn't do it. They snatched Jason Richardson for basically nothing {Brandan Wright} in the offseason, and then they improved their Center skills by adding Nazr Mohammed to their roster. Which made their lineup: Nazr Mohammed, Emeka Okafor, Gerald Wallace, Jason Richardson, Raymond Felton. That is a pretty good lineup, but they just couldn't win. And then a 37-win team {Atlanta} made it to the playoffs and just about knocked out #1 seeded Boston.

So I ! think since they didn't have much success, they should draft either Anthony Randolph or Darrell Arthur. Then they could move Okafor up to Center. Or, they could trade Okafor to some place that he could be dominant. Or if Kevin Love was left undrafted, they could choose him and put Mohammed on the bench.

Grade: C

I will continue giving previews in more posts.
